At the edge of Lisbon’s Parque das Nações business district, next to the Cabeço das Rolas garden, a new office building had to find its place in a context already saturated with corporate volumes. Rather than adding another anonymous block, the project introduces a clear architectural identity. The façades are shaped through parametric design to respond to solar radiation, integrating natural sun protection while giving the building a distinctive rhythm. At ground level, the project extends the district’s urban plinth and opens it to the public with an open-air gallery of shops and leisure spaces under a landscaped dune. The building combines environmental performance and urban presence, becoming the largest Passive House building in Portugal and achieving WELL Platinum, BREEAM Excellent and WiredScore Gold certifications.
