A new chapter begins for Chartreux. The building permit has been granted for this urban reconversion project in the heart of Brussels. Construction is set to start by the end of the year.

The former Partena office building on Rue des Chartreux will be transformed into a 12,688 m² mixed-use complex. The programme includes 71 apartments, retail and commercial spaces, and flexible work areas on the ground and first floors.

More than a change of function, the project rewrites the site’s role in the city. The design introduces light, greenery and permeability into the dense urban fabric, creating open flows between public and private, new and existing.

Developed in close collaboration with Matexi, the Chartreux project is part of a broader strategy for low-carbon, regenerative urban renewal. One permit at a time, we are shaping a different future for Brussels.
